On Change

“There is nothing wrong in change, if it is in the right direction. To improve is to change, so to be perfect is to change often.”

~Winston S. Churchill, 23 June 1925, House of Commons

Although it is likely that Winston Churchill made this statement tongue-in-cheek, one may readily find support for both change “in the right direction” and change that is detrimental. From experience or from your studies, write about one change that is or was viewed differently by different generations.

Change can be good and bad, me personally I like change that is good change though. A lot of older generations don't like change and they often have conflicts with my generations and other younger generations. Our nation is changing everyday and some people hate it and some like it. One thing that has changed that most of the older generation does not agree with is same sex marriage. This is something that has caused a big battle between the two generations and it still causes conflict from day to day. Sam sex restrooms is another change that has taken place recently that many older generations don't agree with. Not saying that there wrong or right but unfortunately this is what the world has come to, and it's changing more and more everyday.

What kind of music makes you really happy and why? What kind makes you really sad? Why?

Gospel music makes me really happy, because it's inspirational and soothing. When I'm upset or going through any kind of situation I know I can choose a certain song to give me peace during my storm. Music is my first love and Gospel just happens to be my favorite I can relate to it more than the others. When I write music I can tell my story in Gospel more than I can in other Genres.

There are some Love music that makes me sad because I have been in some bad relationships. Disappointments, cheating, taking advantage of me and more. There are also of course some funeral songs that are really depressing.

“There is nothing wrong in change, if it is in the right direction. To improve is to change, so to be perfect is to change often.”

Change to me is good, it just really depends on who or what it effects. Change can be hard for some people to adapt to especially the older generations who have been taught or used to doing things a certain way. For instance gay marriage being legal, there are a lot of people who are my grandparents age and older who think that is bad and a disgrace! People my age and even some a little older may support and believe that love is love and it shouldn't matter who you marry as long as your not hurting anyone else do what you like. There has been a battle between the LGBT community and the other Americans for quite some time now but it's becoming more and more you see the LGBT community in churches holding positions and going to the different bathrooms and more. The world is constantly changing.  Some change is good and some is bad, but whatever changes are mad there will always be someone who doesn't like it or agree.

Confessios...

Confessions

I can remember when I used to be a picky eater and only eat certain things or eat only snack foods. now as I've matured and gowned up I eat pretty much anything. I even try weird things like goat or oz tails! I would have to say something really major in my life that I was addicted to that finally I had to just give up was Facebook! Facebook is something I would be on all the time day and night. I didn't get much done at home because I was on my computer or phone scrolling down my Facebook timeline. Going to college and having my grades drop and also seeing a lot of negative views on Facebook made me kind of take a break from it. It can really be a big distractions not everything is bad but not all is good either so I decided to remove myself from the site for about am month. After doing this I felt a little relief and got so much more done and more opportunities came upon my way to be apart of also. Food is something I think we all like love, but there was a point when I looked at myself and I decided I had to stop eating so much. I stopped eating heavy portions, greasy foods, and even sweets. I eventually lost the weight and now I feel and look great. I just don't have much of an appetite to eat like I use to, but that's a good thing I guess. My point is I used to love to eat two to three plates at a time but I eventually realized I needed to stop.

GET MAD!!!

"Getting Mad"

There are many things that just get to me and make me mad like when people blow their nose at the table when eating in a restaurant! I think that is so disgusting and shows lack of manners and no respect for others around you. Another pet peeve of mine is people jumping in front of you on the highway when driving on a busy  intersection. People don't care how dangerous it is they still do it. I would also have to say rude customers at an restaurant or any business who think the employee owes them something. This happens often and can cause tension sometimes with the employee and customer if someone feels offended. Lastly but not least is loud people! This one drives me insane especially when I'm eating at an restaurant or trying to do my work in class, or I'm just wanting to relax. All these things can make you kind of mad but the main one I would say for me is the blowing your noise at the table when eating in a restaurant and then sitting the tissue on the table!!
